Hi! I’m Kristyn Kawaja. I’m based in San Diego, originally from Toronto, Canada. After spending seven years living in New York City, I made my way back to San Diego two years ago. I fell in love with travel after my first trip to Europe with my best friend following university graduation. That experience completely changed my perspective and sparked a passion for exploring the world. Since then, I’ve made it a goal to visit somewhere new at least once a year. Of all the places I’ve been, Italy is still my favorite. The food, the people, the culture, the architecture, and the history are just a few of my favorite things about Italy. When I’m not traveling, I’m usually spending time with my Vizsla, Charlie, or with family and friends. On Wednesday evenings, you’ll find me at my local community college learning about wine regions from around the world. Next up, Champagne! I’ve always loved planning trips just as much as taking them. From researching destinations and discovering incredible restaurants to building thoughtful itineraries, I genuinely enjoy every part of the process.
