Mexico
The number one destination wedding location for US couples. Mexico combines easy flight access, warm weather year-round, a huge range of all-inclusive resorts at every price point, and a wedding industry experienced enough to make the logistics feel simple.

Dominican Republic
The Dominican Republic, particularly Punta Cana, is consistently the second most popular destination wedding location for US couples. The east coast offers reliably beautiful weather and a concentration of well-staffed all-inclusive resorts built for destination weddings at scale.

Jamaica
Jamaica is one of the most distinctive destination wedding locations in the Caribbean. The combination of lush green hills, turquoise water, and the island's unique energy creates a backdrop that feels genuinely different from Mexico or the DR.

Why couples plan with Vacationeeze
You work with the same specialist from the day you sign your contract to the day after you fly home. No handoffs to junior coordinators. No being routed through a call center. We become fast friends with your guests to make the process seamless end-to-end.
We secure a discounted room block, perks, and concessions for your group. You also pay exactly what the resort charges for your wedding package. While we charge a small planning fee, we're primarily compensated by the resort, not by you or your guests. Our advice is shaped by what's right for your wedding, never by what pays us most.
Room blocks, transfers, payment plans, travel reminders, last-minute changes. We become your guests' travel concierge — so you can focus on getting married instead of becoming a part-time wedding travel agent for 80 people.

Who we work with
Couples planning a wedding for 40-120+ guests at a 4 or 5-star all-inclusive resort. Most couples we work with have realized that planning the same wedding locally would cost $100K+. They want a beautiful, well-run wedding without the second-full-time-job of planning it themselves and managing their guests' travel.
Resort selection. Group contract negotiation. Room block management. Guest travel coordination. The administrative weight that makes wedding planning exhausting — that's the work we do for you.
Highly custom non-resort venues (we specialize in all-inclusives and off-site venues). Anything outside Mexico, the Caribbean. We're also careful about which couples we work with. Whether you're Type A, Type B, or something else, we don't care as long as you're kind and loving!
What our clients are saying

We were looking at destination weddings in Cancun and saw a lot of great reviews about Vacationeeze so we scheduled an initial call, which went really great with Jared. Highly recommend Vacationeeze for destination weddings!
We had 45 guests fly in from across the country and every single one of them said it was the best wedding they had ever attended. The team at Vacationeeze handled every detail from room blocks to transfers to the ceremony itself. I did not stress once during the entire planning process. Cannot recommend them enough.
Although I am an avid traveler and feel comfortable navigating the travel world, Penny took away the need for me to do any thinking! She communicated promptly, sent confirmations timely, and even answered all of my silly questions. We had a great time at the wedding and had absolutely no issues with accommodations or transfers to and from the airport. If you want a smooth vacation, she's your gal!

We quickly decided we didn't want to do a local wedding, so we started looking up YouTube videos of destination weddings. We found Jack and fell in love with him. We loved how he was a no nonsense type of guy that wasn't trying to sell anyone on anything, he was just stating facts and his knowledge. We quickly decided that we wanted Jack to be the one to help us figure out a destination wedding for us.
Zandra Valenti has been incredible to work with and has made the entire process easy and smooth. Highly recommend using her for future vacation planning. Quick responses, helps you through the process and answers any questions promptly along the way. Can't recommend enough!

I cannot recommend Jared highly enough. The trip surpassed my expectations, and I am grateful for the meticulous planning and personalized attention provided by Jared. If you're looking for a travel planner who combines expertise with a genuine passion for creating memorable experiences, look no further! Thank you, Jared, for making my trip truly unforgettable. I look forward to planning my next adventure with your expertise!
Everyone told us sunsets in Negril were special but nothing prepared us for what the ceremony actually looked like. The photos are incredible. Our advisor at Vacationeeze specifically recommended a 5pm ceremony timing to catch the golden hour over the water and it made all the difference. Every guest was speechless.
Vacationeeze is amazing. From the moment we contacted them, they provided exceptional service and expertise that made our destination wedding truly unforgettable. Jeff recommended and helped us pick the perfect resort for our special day. His attention to our vision and budget ensured we chose a resort that would fit our wedding expectations.
Jack Benoff did a great job negotiating our contract with the Dreams Playa Mujeres Resort and explaining all the pros and cons of selecting the rooms to offer our group! Likewise, our concierge Leslie was exceptional at coordinating the booking of rooms for our guests, arranging all the travel to and from the resort, and handling the last-minute changes to our booking. Everyone at Vacationeeze was highly responsive and a pleasure to deal with!
Our advisor suggested spending half the week eating our way through Grand Case on the French side and it was the best suggestion anyone made during our entire planning process. The wedding at Sonesta Ocean Point was beautiful and then we had this whole second chapter of the trip that felt completely different. Vacationeeze understood exactly the kind of experience we were looking for.

What a gorgeous resort! From the swings at the bar to the numerous pools… Many thanks to Zandra and Vacationeeze for planning such a dream vacation to El Dorado Maroma in Playa del Carmen last November! It was a beautiful location and the organized events were perfect! We had a delicious dinner on the beach that was beautifully decorated with flowers and lights… just magical! Thank you Zandra, for picking such an amazing resort - we loved the Mexican night, the tequila tasting, and the mariachis! We will be returning for more advice from you in the future!!
We chose Playa Mujeres on Jack's recommendation and it was the best decision of our entire wedding planning process. The beach was pristine, the resort team was exceptional, and our guests felt like they had the whole place to themselves. Nothing like the crowded hotel zone we had been looking at before we called Vacationeeze.
We had 60 guests come to Punta Cana and the logistics of that alone felt overwhelming before we found Vacationeeze. Our advisor managed the entire room block, coordinated all the transfers, and worked directly with the resort wedding team so we never had to play middleman. The ceremony on the beach at Secrets Cap Cana was perfect.

Destination Wedding FAQs
Is a destination wedding actually cheaper than getting married at home?
For most couples: significantly. A traditional wedding for 80–120 guests in a major US city runs $70K–$150K once you add venue, catering, photography, flowers, music, rentals, and the dozens of smaller line items. A comparable destination wedding at a 5-star all-inclusive is typically $20K–$60K for the couple, because guests cover their own rooms and travel. The all-in cost is almost always less — often dramatically.
What if some of our guests can't afford to travel?
It's the question every couple worries about. In practice, it's less of a problem than expected. We offer payment plans on every group booking, which lets guests pay over 6-12 months instead of all at once. We also structure your room block with a range of room categories so guests can pick what fits their budget. Most groups end up with attendance close to a local wedding and sometimes higher, because people frame the trip as a vacation.
How does Vacationeeze charge?
We charge a one-time planning fee if you decide to move forward with our team. We believe knowledge and experience are worth paying for. Most couples will pay $500-$1,000 for the one-time planning fee. We're also compensated by the resort when you book. There's no markup on rooms, and no markup on wedding packages. Our incentive is to recommend what's right for you, not what pays us most.
How much does a destination wedding cost?
The couple's out-of-pocket cost for a destination wedding is often between $5,000 and $15,000 when the wedding package is complimentary through a room block. Guests pay for their own rooms and travel separately, which typically runs $1,500 to $3,500 per person for a week depending on the destination and resort tier. The total is almost always less than a traditional local wedding once venue, catering, and vendor costs are factored in.
What is the most popular destination wedding location?
Mexico is the most popular destination wedding location for US couples, with Cancun, the Riviera Maya, and Cabo San Lucas being the top three. The Dominican Republic, particularly Punta Cana, and Jamaica are the strongest Caribbean alternatives. Mexico's combination of flight access, all-inclusive resort infrastructure, and competitive pricing makes it the default starting point for most couples.
How far in advance should you plan a destination wedding?
Most couples begin planning 12 to 18 months before their wedding date. Popular beach ceremony slots at top resorts, particularly during peak season from December through March, fill up well in advance. Starting earlier gives you the widest choice of resorts, dates, and room block inventory. We can work with shorter timelines but 12 months is the comfortable minimum.
Do guests have to stay at the same resort as the wedding?
No, guests are not required to stay at the resort, but most all-inclusive properties offer the best group rates and simplest logistics when guests stay on-site. Some resorts charge day-pass or vendor fees for guests staying elsewhere. We negotiate room blocks that secure the best available rates and make it easy for your guests to book directly into your group.
Is a destination wedding legally valid in the United States?
A legal ceremony performed in Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and most other popular destination wedding countries is fully recognised in the US. Each country has its own documentation requirements. Many couples choose to complete a quick civil ceremony at their local courthouse before or after travel and hold a symbolic ceremony at the resort, which is equally valid and significantly simpler to coordinate.
How many guests typically attend a destination wedding?
Most destination weddings have between 30 and 80 guests. The smaller guest count is often one of the main appeals: a more intimate celebration with the people who matter most, rather than a large-scale local event. Some couples have as few as 10 guests for an elopement-style trip, while others bring 150 or more to large all-inclusive properties designed for group events.
